What is our Fitness Program?

Fitness is the newest program in the Back Alley arsenal. From the day we opened our garage gym, it is been our passion to offer a fitness program that could impact every single person in our community. The CrossFit program has been a huge success, but we realize CrossFit may not be for everyone. We want to offer a program that would deliver the amazing results of CrossFit with less of an emphasis on weight training. At the same time, it’s very important to us not to water down the program with constant repetition and unrelenting cardio like many of the group training options out there. With Fitness, we’re able to stick to our roots with advanced coaching focusing on flexibility, cardio and core strength. We’ve included skills like jump roping, rowing, dumbbell training and cycling that will keep you learning, adapting and improving for years to come.

We now offer limited Fitness memberships that are designed to fit any budget and lifestyle. If you just want to supplement your current sport training, or you’re trying to get started with your fitness journey, spending a few days a week working on full body strength and conditioning will change your world!


Features of the program include:

  • Morning, afternoon and weekend classes available. Come as often as you want with opportunities 7 days a week.
  • All of the exercises are scaled to YOUR level!
  • All classes are taught by a CrossFit trained coach (CFL1).
  • Workouts are indoors, safe from the elements, with a thumping music system!
  • This program brings results! During the course of your training, your body will begin to rapidly change. We’ll encourage you to take before and after pictures to help capture your transformation.

Do I need to be in shape to join the Fitness program?

NO! That’s why we’re here! We want you to get as fit as possible as fast as possible! We’re invested in long term success and building a strong foundation with efficient movement will keep you in shape and injury free for years to come. When you walk through our door, you will receive elite fitness coaching. We can modify any exercise and any movement to your ability level. We estimate that 80% of the time we have to modify the workouts for our members. Since everyone does it, it’s no big deal. You’ll be amazed how quickly the modifications disappear and you’re doing things you never thought you could!

The classes are an hour long, typically incorporating a warmup, some skill work and the WOD (workout of the day). We focus on coordination, speed, endurance and core strength. We will show you how to move efficiently with correct form. The exercises are similar to the things you do every day: running, jumping, landing, squatting. Basically, the movements that are required in every day life. The workouts are low impact, different every day, always fun and never boring!
